Great for: Strong currents, pelagic sightings
World famous for good reason, this action-packed dive site gets its name from the castle-like peak of the seamount just below the water’s surface.

This is a great dive site to visit while you are around the Padar area, famous for its view of rugged mountains at the hiking point.

Golden Passage is located Just north of Komodo island, the biggest of all the islands in the national park. On the northeast tip of Komodo island lies a smaller island named Gili Lawa Darat, this dive site is in the small channel between the two islands.
Great for: Manta rays
Karang Makassar or Manta Point as it is also known, is a dive site in central Komodo, between Tatawa Besar Island and Komodo Island.
Great for: Beginner-friendly manta dives
Mawan is located in central Komodo National Park to the west of Siaba Besar Island. It’s a small island with some stunning beaches that lead down the water into a sandy slope covered in rubble and some Manta cleaning station bommies at the south end, and reef in the north end.
Great for: Balanced coral and schooling fish
Pengah Kecil dive site is a small rocky island, protruding up from an impressive pinnacle underwater which starts at 27 meters.
Great for: Unique coral formations
Pulau Kambing is arguably the best night dive spot in Komodo National Park. This site is one of the top highlights for visitors to the Komodo area.
